Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Complete all training as required by the Company
Forklift license required, or the ability to obtain a license by passing written and hand on tests for procuring future licensing.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to lift and bend continuously.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following (other duties my be assigned):
Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
Delivers metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machining.
Lifts metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, in chuck or holding fixtures to assist in setting up machines.
Feeds metal parts or stock into automatic metal working machines and removes part from machine after prescribed period of time or at end of cycle.
Adds coolant to reservoirs of machines and lubricates machine parts and ways. 
Assembles steel parts and prepares parts that meet specified requirements.  Operations include sawing, punching, drilling, grinding, chipping and flame cutting.
Complete daily time sheets and QC inspection sheets, and other paperwork required for the area.
Maintain various equipment and supplies.
Cleaning of machines and work area.
Removes metal chips and shavings from surfaces on machines and wipes surfaces of machines to remove excess oil.
Separates metal shavings, chips, and scrap materials from trash and places them in bins for resale.
Removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.  Ability to write simple correspondence in English.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.  The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Personal Protective Equipment:
The employee will be required to wear all safety equipment as mandated by Company Safety Policies.
